Portfolio

Selected projects from university, work and my own time. Most of them sit somewhere between algorithms and interfaces. Feel free to explore the live sites, git repositories or reports that accompany each project.

01 TSP Heuristic Visualiser
Final Year Project · 2026 · 91%
TypeScript, Java, Python, Vue.js, Web Workers

An interactive tool for generating, solving and comparing Travelling Salesperson routes.

I built a web app that lets you generate or import TSP instances and watch ten heuristic algorithms solve them step by step, from greedy and insertion methods to Christofides, 2-Opt and simulated annealing. Solving runs on a Web Worker so the interface stays responsive on large instances, and seeded generation means every experiment can be reproduced exactly.

Alongside the app, I benchmarked every configuration across 9,900 automated experiments in Java and wrote a 15,000-word report. Adding 2-Opt cut tour length by 9.6% for very little extra runtime, which made multi-fragment + 2-Opt the best balance of speed and quality.

02 F1 Telemetry Simulator and Live Dashboard
Personal Project · 2026
C#, .NET, UDP, Vue.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS

A simulated F1 car streaming live telemetry to a real-time dashboard.

A C# simulator models a virtual F1 car and streams its telemetry as UDP packets, with typed models and HTTP endpoints. The Vue dashboard turns that stream into something readable at a glance: tyre and engine temperatures, fuel, speed, steering inputs and race progress, with rolling speed and steering traces.

I was inspired to create this project after a Formua One race weekend. I was intrigued by the challenge of representing such complex and fast changing data in an intuitive and clean interface.

03 Restaurant Management System
Team Project Module · 2025 · 96%
Vue.js, TypeScript, Pinia, Tailwind CSS, Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Stripe

Ordering, kitchen and payments for a full restaurant, built by a team of ten.

Built with a team of ten in my second year. I led sprint planning and Scrum across a 28-story backlog and built most of the front end: reusable form and table components, Pinia stores, and separate views for customers, waiters, kitchen staff and managers. I also helped design the Spring Boot API and PostgreSQL database.

The finished system handled the full ordering flow, including allergen filtering, live order tracking, waiter notifications and Stripe payments, with the back end tested to 86% branch coverage.

04 The Splash Website
Commercial · 2025
C#, ASP.NET Razor, Umbraco, Tailwind CSS

A company website rebuilt on a modern stack in six weeks.

During my summer internship I rebuilt The Splash and Kaboodle's website, reporting to a Senior Software Developer. The new site runs on Umbraco with ASP.NET Razor and Tailwind, and added a proper search engine with filtering and sorting, interactive maps and better photo galleries.

05 Braver Spaces Website
Freelance · 2026
Wix

A website designed and built from scratch for ambitious women who want to grow.

I designed and built Braver Spaces' website as a freelance project, working directly with the founders from the first brief through to launch. Over several meetings I gathered their requirements, mapped out how visitors should move through the site, and turned that into an original design.

The build uses several of Wix's features, including custom member pages, events, pricing plans and more, so members have a rich and meaningful experience. In total it was over 70 hours of work across planning, design and development.
